Nothing phone [1] review and price in 2022

April 7, 2022 by Hossain

Nothing phone

Intro: Nothing Phones Carl Pei – the man behind the Nothing brand made some important announcements today. Nothing is an audio company as previously thought and it aims to be an ecosystem rival to the likes of Apple. Pei even went as far as claiming that Nothing aims to be “the most compelling alternative to Apple” with products that connect and function seamlessly.

The company is in fact reading an entry in the smartphone market which will be dubbed Nothing phone (1) and will run a custom user interface on top of Android dubbed Nothing OS Nothing Phones 1

What is Nothing phone?

The phone that comes with a “Nothing” screen is nothing short of extraordinary. The design is truly unique and the phone looks as if it has no screen at all.

release date?

The Nothing Phone 1 is scheduled to launch this summer, with the Nothing OS shipping alongside it. CEO Carl Pei confirmed this at a virtual event, meaning we can expect the p hone to release in July 2022.

Nothing phone price in the USA?

The Nothing Phone 1 could cost as little as $800 in the US, or as much as £700 in the UK. However, in Canada, the Nothing Phone 1 may be priced at CAD $1200.

The company’s first product, Noting Year 1, was very competitively priced at $99. It had Active Noise Rejection (ANC), which was a premium feature. However, we still don’t have any official information on the price of Nothing Phone 1. If you own a phoneNothing phone

The company’s first product, the Nothing Ear true wireless headphones, had competitive pricing (at £/US$99) while retaining premium features like ANC (active noise cancellation), placing them at the upper end of what would be considered ‘budget’ within their respective product category.

If the same treatment were applied to the Phone (1), we would expect something in the region of £250/$300. However, suspicions and leaks point to Nothing producing something a little more high-end. If the phone were to come powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, for example, we would expect a much higher price tag

how many Nothing Phone [1] designs?

Although the outside of the Nothing Phone 1 remains a mystery, the illustrations given to Wired by Nothing event may suggest what the phone’s back looks like. The design, according to founder Carl Pei, is “unlike anything you’ve seen before.”Nothing Phones

Evan Blass, a well-known leaker, tweeted an image of Carl Pei holding an unknown device that is phone-sized. Although it is difficult to make out much detail, this may be a glimpse of the new phone.

Although it’s not confirmed, the phone might have a transparent back, based on a tweet from the company. The see-through design of the Nothing Ear 1 also suggests that the Phone 1 will have this feature, taking us back to the days when transparent gadgets were still popular. This concept from shows how it might look.Nothing Phones

When does the Nothing Phone (1) launch?

The company first confirmed that it was working on a smartphone at its 23 March event. Although CEO Carl Pei, who let the stream, didn’t offer much in the way of detail, beyond promising a summer release.Nothing Phones
You can rewatch the March event stream, right here:
The event also saw the reveal of Nothing OS – the Android-based user experience that the Nothing Phone (1) will sport, which will be made available “on select smartphone models” for interested fans to try out in launcher form from sometime in April.Nothing phone

What features does the Nothing Phone (1) offer?

The speculation that the Nothing Phone will run on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is not entirely unfounded, as the company announced a partnership with Qualcomm in late 2021. Qualcomm’s involvement reportedly consists of supplying Nothing with its Snapdragon hardware for use in “future products.”

In terms of what the Snapdragon-powered Nothing smartphone looks like, the company has been quite secretive, only releasing a teaser image that suggests where the phone’s hardware might be located. (1) It appears that there is a pill-shaped camera module in the top left, a large element in the center

that resembles a wireless charging coil, and If you’re looking for something more concrete, established tipster @evleaks shared an image before the official teaser of the phone. The image shows Nothing CEO, Carl Pei, showing a mysterious device to Qualcomm’s CEO, Cristiano Amon. The photo was taken in the private area of Qualcomm’s headquarters.

The Nothing Phone 1 specs and performance review

The Nothing Phone 1 specs have not been released yet, but the phone will have a Snapdragon chip, thanks to the partnership with Qualcomm. This suggests that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, typically found in flagship devices, will be present in the Nothing Phone 1.

The Nothing Phone 1 also delivers on its promise of “fast and smooth performance” by providing optimal processing power and RAM for the apps you use most. As a result, your most-used apps will launch faster on Phon e 1.

The phone in the pictures appears to have an always-on display, which would require an OLED display to work. It’s possible that this would also mean a high refresh rate in line with the common 120Hz standard on more expensive Android phones.

Nothing Phone [1] Outlook review

The Android smartphone market has shrunk in recent years, with LG, HTC, and other companies no longer in the mix. Samsung’s dominance has become boring for those looking for something truly exciting and different. We’re hoping Nothing 1 makes a splash, but this upstart brand has a lot to prove.

Nothing phone conclusion

In conclusion, Nothing Phones [1] are excellent, budget, excellent phones, however, they will not replace human smartphones, nor are they intended to be replaced. They’re cool, very chic, and they look like they should be big hits, but users will want everything on the phone, and the p hones are getting bigger. Free four-year software update and a three-year warranty.

The Nothing startup plans to build an ecosystem of innovative products, with the Nothing Phone 1 at its heart, to compete with the likes of Apple. However, we will have to wait a few months for the exact details about Nothing Pho ne 1 to be revealed.
